A massive congratulations from all of AYC to Members Alistair & Henry Warren!
Alistair won the Alan Perkes 1966 Trophy by finishing 3rd overall (joint 2nd on points), and also taking home the Murphy Howard 1902 Trophy, for finishing 2nd in the Long Distance Race (10 miles).
Three of the top five International Canoes were designed by Alistair — a real testament to his expertise in design and deep understanding of sailing an IC.
Henry also had a standout event, winning the Royal Canoe Club Centenary Sailing Trophy (1866–1966) for 2nd place in the IC One Design. He also claimed the Ken Davis Memorial Trophy as the top Under-25 competitor.
